SEO Powersuite Reviewed

A while back, maybe 6 – 8 months ago I came across a piece of software by Link-Assistant.com called SEO Powersuite.  SEO Powersuite is a set of tools, 4 in all that when combined help you tackle the difficult area of performing search engine optimization for your website or websites. This toolset combines these 4 tools each of them named as: Rank Tracker Website Auditor SEO Spyglass LinkAssistant You might be asking the question do I really require 4 different pieces of software? Well the answer to that is a definite yes if you are performing these typical functions each day, week or month. Task such as: Keyword Research Keyword Ranking Statistics Analyzing your Anchors and their percentages Quality of your backlinks Where are your competitors getting links. Repairing issues with Google – Panda, Penguin algorithm Communicating with other website owners to build relationships Finding new backling opportunities, sending emails and tracking responses Well if you are like myself I have to perform these tasks above often, not only for myself and my websites but also for clients as well.  It used to be a daunting task, but after coming across SEO Powersuite and it’s set of tools my time spent on this has lessoned immensely and it could for you as well. So lets go over some of the details of each piece of the software and what functions each provides for you. Rank Tracker This software does what it says, tracks keyword position within the search engines. Knowing your position directly correlates to income does it not, so knowing this information is a must. Rank Tracker not only tracks your keywords and their rankings but also your competitors as well. You have the opportunity to track up to 5 websites and compare them all. No more manual checking needed! If you don’t like to open the software and run it each day, then why not make use of the auto-pilot settings. Set a schedule for the software and let it perform this rank tracking task for you. All you need to do is to go into the program every so often and look at the results. If you need to make a PDF of the ranking stats this is also an option to a licensed user. Lastly, Rank Tracker can also display to you the BEST Keywords to optimize your sites for. Let it show you the amount of times a keyword is searched, as well as just how difficult if the competition going to be. The team at Link-Assistant.com calls this KEI ( Keyword Efficiency Index ).  Got to love those acronyms. Rank Tracker Project  ...

Hostgator Review & Discount

I see a lot of reviews online for different hosting by different providers and today I wanted to share my experiences by reviewing Hostgator hosting. A good reliable host is vital when doing internet marketing and trying to make money online today. Finding one that works for you is also important to me so I created this review. I have been using Hostgator as my main host of my money sites since 2006 when I started my first ecommerce site online to make my first bit of money on the internet. At that time I did spend many hours searching for a reliable host that was cost effective and one that I could remain with in the long term.  Well the final result of my searches in 2006 was Hostgator. When I view my accounts now I am currently using them to host 22 of my money sites that have been running without issues for years now. Setup dates for each of these accounts range from Oct 2006 up to the last site I setup, which is this one zWinks.org on Dec 6, 2012. I have used other companies to host other money sites over the years and still have couple of different accounts elsewhere just to not put all my eggs into one basket. Some of the other providers I have used can be found on my post about how to build an effective link juice network if you are curious. Some people may want to use a VPS server for their sites. This is an okay solution if you can afford the fastest and most expensive VPS hosting, but if you can’t, then do not go down this road.  I have tested this option for cheap VPS hosting and for a money site they can not compare to the speed of a shared server which only hampers your search engine results since page load times are ranking factors nowadays. So if you want a fast host then do not use  cheap VPS servers. You can use cheap VPS servers if you want to run software like Senuke XCR, Ultimate Demon, GSA Search Engine Ranker,  The Best Spinner, Kontent Machine etc. and share them with your virtual assistants then they work well.  I have used Hero Host and Accuwebhosting VPS hosting for my VA’s in the past and they both worked well for this kind of a situation. Anyways I digress, lets get back to this review of Hostgator! 🙂 >> Click Here To Visit Hostgator << Use The Coupon Dwight_Cocran to Save $9.94 Today Or Use Dwight_Cocran_25OFF  To Save 25% Reasons I stay with Hostgator and recommend their services to...

Articles I Have Read in August 2013

I frequently visit many blogs online and use technorati to find sites that are getting the most traffic . The reason I do this is because I like to read what they are talking about in many areas of blogging.  Some of the areas I really enjoy reading about are Google Webmaster changes, Google Analytics different uses, SEO Tips, Different philosophies on site setup and Internet Marketing business advice, New Software and a whole lot of others. Blogging Tips Learning ways to obtain better results within the search engines is always a bloggers quest and this month I read a great post titled “Top 9 SEO Tips for Web Masters and Bloggers”.   This article listed some of the usual things most of us take for granted when creating our posts on our sites but it is always good to be reminded of the little things we forget.  I know as I forget many things very often and my beautiful wife is very kind to give me a heads up. 🙂 Mental exercises could certainly give me a boost. Next I came upon another great post on Problogger.net about a very important and relevant topic for all bloggers and that post was “Building a Blog Brand, Posting Frequency and Choosing a Niche”. Darren Rowse discusses in his post the important rules for building brand, something I am underway on for Zwinks.org. He makes a great reference to Jeff Bezos of Amazon which totally makes a lot of sense. Next he tackles choosing a niche and the ever popular question of “Profitability vs Personal Interest”. Last and maybe most important is what rate should we be posting to our sites. I know I struggle keeping a regular posting schedule and realize what I have been doing on my blog is not good enough so as summer ends I am in process of rectifying this by becoming much more organized. Content Writing content that has good value, that is longer then 400 words and is not just rehashed mumbo jumbo takes a lot of effort by us bloggers.  Protecting our content is highly important as these articles are valuable and is what brings traffic and people to our websites. So how do we go about protecting our assets on our blogs? I came across a post on Kissmetric’s blog by Olivia Rose that can help us with the various ways we can protect ourselves as well as find and get the stolen content removed from the internet. This post is titled “5 Easy to Use Tools to Effectively Find and Remove Stolen Content”.  At some point in time every website owner comes across this...

How To Make Links in a Google Plus Post DoFollow

This is no longer working I recently found a great search engine optimization tip about how to make dofollow links within your Google Plus posts. Of course I wish I learned this awhile back as I was making all my posted links nofollow which is probably what Google intended us to do, but then why did they make another option for adding links that are dofollow.  Kind of strange I am thinking how about you? Anyways, lets take advantage of this right! So this small little extra step that I found is not difficult to implement and is actually only one more step then the usual way I have been adding links to my posts in Google+. I do not know if it is really adding much SEO value to the articles I am linking to, but I hope it is passing along some added benefit to my articles and it is not taking me any longer to create them so why not? To get started I have taken a screen shot of a regular Google + post using a firefox plugin called SEO Quake that will show nofollow links in the browser with a line right through the middle of the outbound link. If you look below the image of one of my posts is showing this line. For the dofollow example I posted this post with links within the text and they are showing nofollow but the other link using the title of my blog post “How to Use Kontent Machine to Create Unique Content Tutorial” is a link that is dofollow. As you can see in the screenshot below this link has no line through the middle. So How Does One Make These Links? It is completely simple to make these links so let me tell you how to be certain you are making dofollow links. Most users on Google Plus are just copying and pasting a link directly into their “Share what’s new…” box. Don’t do that anymore okay! What you need to do is write in the share box whatever you would like to and then click the add link button to add the URL you want to create this dofollow link to. Google will scan the URL and then add an image from the article if there is one and then it will create an anchor text link using the Title of the article from the html title tag. That is all there is to it. You have now created your dofollow link on your Google+ account. Please do not forget to add me to your Google...

How to use Kontent Machine for Unique Content

Create Unique Readable Content Using Kontent Machine That Gets Indexed I have been using Kontent Machine (Get a 22% Discount onZwinks.org) for almost one year now to create spun content for Google Search Engine Ranker (GSR) and to also create content that is over 95% unique for posting on The Fightback Network with some great success. Today I want to show you how I have been creating the 95% unique content for creating contextual backlinks to link back to my money sites, web 2.0 sites and redirects when using the fight back network. This content passes a check within FBN (Fightback Network) for uniqueness and also a manual review before the articles are posted onto any of the sites. To date I have not had any of the posts disallowed or sent back for revisions. Read how I leverage my blog networks using The Fightback Networks Here. Also the other day I checked the indexing status of about 65 posts I made over the last few months to just one of my sites and they were 99% indexed in Google.  In GSR I have not been having much success but I am testing some new methods and it involves not using word and phrase spun content when using Kontent Machine. When I create my own spun articles using sentences, words and phrases and limit the use they are still being indexed fine. (Read more about these spinning techniques here) The Steps Used To Create The Content (30 Minute Video at the bottom of this post) You can also view my Kontent Machine 3 Review & Tutorial. Step 1 – Launch Kontent Machine and create a new campaign. Name the campaign appropriately using the niche or keywords being used and I also like to add an abbreviation as well such as FBN so I know this content is being use to post to that network.  Ex. Payday Loans – FBN Step 2 -Add one or more keywords as well into the campaign settings. I try to use at least two but sometimes KM cannot return enough content for one of the keywords. (I have not experienced this as being a common issue though). *Of course do not use keywords that are from different niches, use a tool like Google’s keyword tool or Scrapebox to find relevant keywords that fit around your main niche keyword such as – Main Keyword Payday Loans, Secondary Keyword  – Payday Loans Online. Step 3 – Link Settings – My preferred setting here is two contextual links and sometimes three with the link format of HTML.  I do not use just one because I like to add authority links within...
