Web 2.0 Sites List – Manual Web 2.0’s and Ultimate Demon

Building links to our websites in 2013 can be challenging for some, especially newbie’s to SEO and internet marketing.  We have found that some of these people are asking us questions about doing this type of link building on a regular basis so we decided to write about the topic. First off some of the questions we are being asked are: What is a Web 2.0 site? Where do I find a list of these websites and which ones may provide traffic as well as help to increase my online presence? What is the value of building links from web 2.0 domains? What are the best methods to build out these type of websites? History of the term Web 2.0 This term “web 2.0” was created quite some time ago, some say way back in the year 1999.  It was used to describe websites that use technology on sites that is not like the static webpage on earlier domains. These new type of websites usually allow users to interact with others and at times collaborate in a social way, something we now call social media. What these dialogues do is create a viral community engaging in user generated content. This is a great contrast to how older sites were built, and this is really a great use of the Internet as a collaborative medium. So how do these interactive websites help us out by building them, adding content and then linking back to one of our own sites? The high ranking sites like Hubpages, WordPress, Tumblr etc.,  represent a place  that is a safe haven for us because they stand the test of time. They are seen as quality domains that have authority within the search engines eyes, are used by millions of real people for social interaction, plus they get traffic, which allows them to rank high in Alexa as well. We have found that when we take the time to build a site out with unique content (not spun unique) that these mini sites are very resilient to any penalties, thus we build all types of links directly to them to help them pass link juice onto our own domains and good things usually happen. So by using these web 2.0 domains this way we gain two advantages and those are, increased traffic (not always but often if we provide good content) and we also get link juice, which results in some improvements in our own rankings especially over a period of time as these properties we develop gain page rank and their own authority.
