San Antonio Spurs rookie Dylan Harper will be out indefinitely due to a left calf strain, the team announced Monday.
Injury Details and Impact
Harper, the 2nd pick in this year's draft, was injured in the second quarter of San Antonio's game against Phoenix on Sunday. An MRI conducted Monday in Los Angeles confirmed the calf strain. The Spurs have not provided a return timetable.
The San Antonio Express-News reported that Harper left the Phoenix arena using crutches and wearing a walking boot.
Harper’s Performance This Season
Through the first six games of the season, all from the bench, Harper has averaged 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists.
“We've seen great things from him,” Spurs star Victor Wembanyama said.
