Report: Kings sign forward Precious Achiuwa

The Sacramento Kings have strengthened their frontcourt by reaching an agreement with free-agent forward Precious Achiuwa, according to ESPN reporter Shams Charania.

Achiuwa, 26, joins the Kings as he prepares for his sixth NBA season. The team aims to enhance its rebounding strength and defensive flexibility with his addition.

The 6-foot-8 forward played last season with the New York Knicks, averaging 6.6 points and 5.6 rebounds across 57 games.

Selected 20th overall by the Miami Heat in the 2020 NBA Draft, Achiuwa spent one season in Miami before moving to the Toronto Raptors, where he played three seasons. He was later traded to the Knicks.
