Japan arrives in strong form, having defeated Australia 4-0 in their last friendly before the tournament. Their best performances in the U17 World Cup came in 1993 and 2011, both times reaching the quarterfinals.

Morocco, led by coach Nabil Baha, enters with confidence after winning the U17 Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year. Their preparation matches ended in victories—2-0 against Switzerland and 4-3 over Uzbekistan. The team reached the quarterfinal stage in the 2023 U17 World Cup.
Midfielder Abdellah Ouazzane of Ajax Youth stands out after his exceptional AFCON campaign, while forward Ziyad Baha from Calavera CF U19 is expected to spearhead Morocco’s attack.
