New Jersey Devils center Cody Glass returned to the lineup Thursday night against the Montreal Canadiens, while forward Connor Brown remained sidelined.
Glass was activated from injured reserve after missing seven games due to an injury sustained in October. The 26-year-old started the season with two goals in six games.
Early in his return, Glass scored an unassisted goal 1:53 into the game, giving the Devils an early lead.
However, the Devils lost defenseman Dougie Hamilton early in the second period due to a lower-body injury. Hamilton left the game 4 1/2 minutes into the middle period and did not return to the bench for the remainder of the game.
Keefe said Hamilton would be evaluated Friday.
The Devils won the game 4-3 in overtime against the Canadiens.
Cody Glass made a strong return from injury with a key goal, but the Devils face concerns as Dougie Hamilton exited early with a lower-body injury during their overtime win.
