Seventeen-year-old James Overy from Manchester United has been selected for his first senior Socceroos squad. Alongside him, experienced players Jackson Irvine and Riley McGree return from injury layoffs.

James Overy’s Rise
Overy, turning 18 this weekend, earned his debut call-up after impressing at the U20 World Cup with the Young Socceroos. The Perth-born right-back recently signed his first professional contract with Manchester United and previously played under-19s for Scotland before committing to Australia.
