The 2026 World Club Challenge will proceed as planned, with the Brisbane Broncos committed to making the trip to the United Kingdom. According to The Sydney Morning Herald, the Broncos have agreed to face Hull KR in February.
The match is expected to take place at Hull FC’s MKM Stadium, which holds around 25,500 spectators—nearly double the capacity of Hull KR's usual home ground, Sewell Group Craven Park.
There were concerns about the World Club Challenge schedule because Hull KR will participate in the Las Vegas event in 2026, where they are set to play Leeds Rhinos in a Super League match on March 1. The team needs to travel the weekend before that.
The match is set to be played on Thursday, February 19.
The 2026 World Club Challenge moves forward with Brisbane Broncos traveling to the UK, overcoming scheduling challenges linked to Hull KR's busy early 2026 calendar.
