The International Cricket Council (ICC) released its latest T20I rankings for men, highlighting Abhishek Sharma and Varun Chakravarthy at the top spots.
Young Indian opener Abhishek Sharma leads the batters list with 925 rating points, ahead of England’s Phil Salt and fellow Indian Tilak Verma. Another Indian batsman, T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav, ranks eighth among the top ten batters.
Spinner Varun Chakravarthy maintains the top position among T20I bowlers. Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood rose two spots to 10th place after strong performances against India. Chakravarthy is followed by West Indies’ Akeal Hosain and Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan.
Notably, no other Indian bowler appears in the top rankings.
Hardik Pandya is the only Indian allrounder featured in the T20 rankings top ten, holding the fourth spot.
