SAN ANTONIO – Spurs forward Julian Champagnie swapped his jersey for a Scooby-Doo costume this Halloween to make a surprise visit to Methodist Children’s Hospital. He was accompanied by the Spurs' mascot, Coyote.

Champagnie handed out candy, posed for photos, and interacted with young patients, spreading joy and festive spirit during the hospital’s Halloween celebration.

Hospital's Halloween Traditions

Each year, Methodist Children’s Hospital transforms with unique themes and decorations, with staff wearing costumes. The hospital also holds reverse trick-or-treating, where leadership visits rooms to distribute treats.

Special Guests and Therapy Dogs

The event was made memorable by Champagnie’s visit and the presence of Emergency Services Facility Dogs—Lady, Fresca, and Chanel—who were dressed as a surgeon, a witch, and a spider respectively.
