Before marriage, Zarine, then known as Zarine Katrak, was a model and actress. She appeared in Bollywood films such as Tere Ghar Ke Saamne and Ek Phool Do Mali. She is fondly remembered for playing Dev Anand’s secretary in Tere Ghar Ke Saamne.
After leaving the entertainment industry, Zarine pursued a career in interior design. She was also an avid cook and authored a cookbook titled Family Secret.
