Actor Jacob Elordi, known for his role in “Frankenstein,” stars in a new fashion campaign by Bottega Veneta captured by the acclaimed photographer Duane Michals. The project continues the Italian brand’s ongoing collaboration with the art world.
Photographed in Michals’s Gramercy Park apartment, the 93-year-old artist shot Elordi in black and white as he engaged with flowers, a feather, branches, and a distorting mirror—visual motifs that echo Michals’s surreal style.
The campaign, titled “What Are Dreams,” also features a short film where Elordi, seated in a rocking chair, recites a poem by Michals. Soft piano music accompanies his reading, adding a reflective tone.
“It is our enigmatic fate that we must dream in time and wait.”
Bottega Veneta, which appointed Elordi as a brand ambassador in 2024, released the film and photography series today as part of its artistic partnership with Michals.
Author’s summary: A poetic union of cinema and fashion unfolds as Jacob Elordi embodies Bottega Veneta’s creative spirit in Duane Michals’s dreamlike campaign.
