Cineplex Community Day, now in its 13th year, will take place on November 15 at participating Cineplex theatres across Ontario. The event invites guests to relax and enjoy free movie screenings during the day.
Besides complimentary films, attendees can enjoy free gaming sessions at select locations of The Rec Room and Playdium. This expansion adds an interactive entertainment option to the traditional movie experience.
“Cineplex Community Day is consistently one of my favourite days of the year, as we welcome guests from communities across the country to join us for a morning of free movies or to engage in some friendly competition at The Rec Room or Playdium,” said Ellis Jacob, president and CEO of Cineplex.
Free movie tickets are distributed in person at theatre locations starting at 9 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.
Snacks including regular popcorn, a drink, and select candy will be sold for $3 plus tax until 11 a.m. at Cineplex locations. Additionally, Cineplex’s XSCAPE venues will provide free 30-minute arcade tokens or play cards either before or after the movies.
Community Day creates an accessible entertainment experience, combining free films, affordable snacks, and fun gaming options for families across Ontario.
