Singer Tish Hyman went on a heated rant at a Gold's Gym in California, speaking about what she described as “grown men in the women’s locker room.” The clip showed a transgender person identified as Alexis Black, according to TMZ.
The confrontation reportedly led to Hyman being removed from the Beverly Center gym location. Although the incident occurred when it was still a Gold’s Gym, the facility is currently operated by EoS Fitness, which recently took over several former Gold’s Gym locations in Southern California.
Hyman, best known for songs such as Subway Art and Home for Christmas, explained that this outburst was not a one-time event but came after multiple uncomfortable encounters.
“Today he saw me walk into the women’s room, followed me in and called me a bitch. I ran out into the locker room crying and screaming,”
During an appearance on TMZ Live, the 42-year-old said she had seen multiple transgender people in women’s locker rooms and that these situations made her feel scared and uneasy. She alleged that some of these individuals acted aggressively toward her, and expressed frustration at what she perceived as a lack of action from the gym’s management.
Tish Hyman’s viral confrontation at Gold’s Gym involved transgender woman Alexis Black and stemmed from the singer’s repeated claims of discomfort in shared locker rooms.
