Strong winds are forecast for today, with gusts reaching up to 60 mph along the western foothills. A Wind Advisory remains in effect there until noon. Elsewhere, gusts of 30 mph or more are expected across the region.
Some areas may experience light rain, while the mountains could receive a few inches of snow through tomorrow morning. High temperatures will mainly reach the mid-50s.
A cold front moving through Friday night into Saturday morning could bring a light dusting of snow, up to an inch, east of Hardin by early Saturday. Gusty winds of 30–40 mph in that area may reduce visibility.
High pressure will build in by Saturday afternoon, leading to dry conditions expected through next week. Cooler temperatures will settle in over the weekend before warming above average Monday onward.
