The aftship of [translate:NKT Eleonora], a new cable-laying vessel (CLV), has arrived at a Vard shipyard in Tulcea, Romania. Here, it will be connected to the foreship and superstructure. This follows its initial launch at Vard’s Braila shipyard in mid-October.
On November 7, the aftship was towed from Braila to Tulcea for assembly before its final delivery journey to Vard Bratvaag in Norway, scheduled for 2027.
The official keel laying occurred on January 15, two months after the vessel’s first steel was cut.
