Ringbrothers, the world-renowned custom car builder and parts manufacturer, unveiled their latest creation, “KINGPIN,” at the 2025 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. This build pushes the boundaries of both performance and style of one of America’s most legendary muscle cars—the 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1.
Design and Engineering
After more than 5,500 hours of meticulous work, KINGPIN merges the classic design of the 20th-century Mustang with advanced 21st-century technology. The result is a full reimagining of the original Mach 1 that exceeds the performance of the factory version by a wide margin.
Powertrain and Performance
- Powered by a Wegner Motorsports 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine
- Equipped with a Whipple supercharger producing over 800 horsepower

- Chassis converted back to a unibody design from a Roadster Shop FAST TRACK Stage III chassis through extensive metalwork
- Mach 1 body widened by two inches at the front and 3.5 inches at the rear
- Wheelbase extended forward by 1 inch for improved dynamics
