Ringbrothers have reimagined the 1969 Mustang Mach 1, creating KINGPIN—a restomod that combines handcrafted metalwork, advanced engineering, and a dark, aggressive design. This project took over 5,500 hours to complete, blending classic style with modern technology.
The heart of KINGPIN is a Wegner Motorsports 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine equipped with a Whipple supercharger, delivering more than 800 horsepower. Power is sent through a Bowler Transmissions Carbon Edition six-speed manual gearbox. Custom-fabricated headers and a Flowmaster Super 44 stainless steel exhaust system provide the car with its unique sound.
“The Mustang Mach 1 has always been an aggressive-looking car, and the client was adamant about creating a sinister aesthetic,” said Jim Ring, Ringbrothers co-owner. “We asked ourselves, ‘What would the final boss in a John Wick film drive?’ This was the result.”
Kingpin perfectly merges the iconic muscle car legacy with cutting-edge performance and design, resulting in a distinguished and fearsome machine.
