"The Girl in a Bubble sets the song during a night at Glinda’s lavish headquarters... mourning she’s 'Glinda the Good' at the behest of Madame Morrible and the Wizard’s design."
"'No Place Like Home' sees Elphaba contemplatively sorrowful, reflecting on loving Oz despite being made to despise her as the 'Wicked Witch of the West.'"

Both songs had brief teases in the trailers, but the live show offered deeper insight into their role and emotions within the film.
