'Wicked: One Wonderful Night' Live Soundtrack Released
The soundtrack for Wicked: One Wonderful Night, the live musical event, is now available on digital platforms through Republic Records and Verve Records.
The performance was filmed live at the iconic Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and can be viewed on Sky and NOW in the UK. This recording features stunning performances from Wicked stars and Academy Award nominees Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, alongside Jeff Goldblum, Bowen Yang, Ethan Slater, Marissa Bode, and others.
The live show is supported by a 37-piece orchestra conducted by Stephen Oremus, the executive music producer of both Wicked and Wicked: For Good, who has won a Tony Award and two Grammys. The soundtrack delivers reimagined arrangements with sweeping emotions and memorable moments from the world of Oz.
Upcoming Soundtrack Release for 'Wicked: For Good'
Fans can pre-order the official soundtrack for Wicked: For Good, which will release on November 21 to coincide with the film’s theatrical debut.
This album includes two new original songs by the legendary Grammy and Oscar-winning composer and lyricist Stephen Schwartz:
- No Place Like Home, performed by Cynthia Erivo
- The Girl in the Bubble, performed by Ariana Grande
It also features the previously unreleased track, The Wicked Witch of the East.
