Hyundai Motor and Singapore’s EDB Collaborate on Low-Carbon and Hydrogen Solutions

Hyundai Motor Group (HMG), a South Korean conglomerate, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Singapore’s Economic Development Board (EDB) to pursue opportunities in developing low-carbon and hydrogen technologies. The partnership aims to accelerate innovation and sustainability in the energy and mobility sectors.

According to the agreement, EDB will facilitate HMG’s involvement in initiatives focused on implementing and expanding low-carbon technologies. The collaboration may include joint efforts with local enterprises and research partners to drive technological advancements that support Singapore’s clean energy goals.

Building on Existing Cooperation

This MoU strengthens the relationship between the two organizations established through the Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS), HMG’s first global open innovation hub and testing platform.
