Peloton is voluntarily recalling 878,800 seat posts used in its Bike+ exercise models following reports of serious falls and injuries. The metal seat posts, which support the bike seats during workouts, may break during use, posing significant safety risks.
The recall involves Peloton Original Series Bike+ models with the model number PL02 and serial numbers beginning with the letter "T." These numbers are located inside or behind the bike's front fork or behind the flywheel. The affected bikes were produced between December 2019 and July 2022.

Peloton initiated the recall after receiving three reports of seat post failures during use. These incidents resulted in two injuries related to falls caused by the broken seat posts.
