LoL Esports 2025 World Championship Opening Ceremony
The 2025 League of Legends World Championship Opening Ceremony, presented by Mastercard™, will be held on November 8 at 11 p.m. GMT at the Dong’an Lake Sports Park Indoor Gymnasium in Chengdu. This event will mark the start of the year's largest esports competition.
Performances and Creative Collaboration
The ceremony will feature global artists and an unforgettable visual showcase. DJ and producer Anyma joins Riot Games as a creative collaborator for ACT III of the ceremony, merging technology, art, and storytelling. The event will highlight powerful vocals from Chinese pop singer G.E.M., longtime League collaborator Chrissy Costanza, and Austrian singer-songwriter TEYA, celebrating 15 years of LoL Esports.
About G.E.M.
Born in Shanghai in 1991 and raised in Hong Kong from age four, G.E.M. is a renowned Chinese pop singer, songwriter, producer, and screenwriter. She has released over 120 original songs, including the hit "Light Years Away," which holds the Guinness World Record for the most views on a Chinese music video. In 2022, she launched her fully original album Revelation and created a 14-episode music series for it.
