LoL Worlds 2025: G2 Esports Scrim Performance Overview

Scrim Schedule and Results
From October 3rd until their quarterfinal elimination by Top Esports on October 30, G2 Esports took part in an intense scrim schedule. They completed 35 scrim blocks, playing a total of 129 games with a 54.2% winrate, recording 70 wins and 59 losses.
Regional Performance Analysis
Examining their scrims against different regions reveals G2's comfort and challenges on the international stage:
- LPL and LTA as Major Challenges: These two regions posed significant difficulties. G2’s win against BiliBili Gaming in Round 2 was nearly their sole victory over the LPL, while Invictus Gaming dealt their worst scrim loss early on with a 1–6 score.
- Struggles vs LTA: G2 met FlyQuest three times but only won against them in an official match, highlighting challenges outside the competition stage.
- Strong Practice Against LCK: Despite not scrimming against Hanwha Life Esports, G2 played more scrim games against the LCK than any other region and showed strong performance.
