Perodua EV Pilot Production Begins
Perodua's president and CEO, Datuk Seri Zainal Abidin Ahmad, announced that pilot production of the company's first electric vehicle (EV) has started at their Rawang base.
The launch is expected to happen before the end of the year, with a price target of maximum RM80,000.
Perodua aims to produce 2,500 units per month, with a target of 50% local content by 2026.
