6 shot, 1 killed in trio of NYC shootings Sunday night

Six people were shot and one man was killed in three separate incidents that unfolded across New York City on Sunday night, according to police reports.

Triple shooting in the Bronx

At around 9 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call inside a building located between East 142nd Street and East 143rd Street on Brook Avenue in the Mott Haven area. Upon arrival, police found three male victims, including a teenager, suffering from gunshot wounds.

A 16-year-old boy was shot in the back.
A 20-year-old man was also struck in the back.
A 29-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to his leg.

All three victims were transported to Lincoln Hospital and were listed in stable condition.

“No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing,”

the NYPD stated.

Double shooting in Queens

Roughly 20 minutes before the Bronx incident, police responded to reports of gunfire inside a residence on 16th Road between 147th and 149th Streets in Whitestone, Queens.

A 39-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to his left arm.
A 49-year-old woman was hit in her right arm and torso.

Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital and were reported in stable condition.

“A firearm was recovered at the scene, and detectives are continuing to investigate,”

police said.

Fatal shooting under investigation
