Queensland Cross Border Commissioner Ian Leavers Dies Suddenly

Ian Leavers, Queensland’s cross-border commissioner, has passed away at his home, leaving behind a decades-long legacy in policing and public service.

Police found Leavers at his residence around 9:50 a.m. The death is not being treated as suspicious, though investigations remain ongoing.
