On Sunday, November 9, 2025, the Belleville Senators complete their first three-in-three series of the season at CAA Arena with a North Division clash against the Laval Rocket. The team enters the matchup uplifted after a thrilling 2-1 victory over the Hartford Wolf Pack the previous night.
Phil Daoust sealed the win for Belleville with a shorthanded game-winner just four seconds before the final buzzer. The triumph leveled Belleville’s record at 5-5-1-0 through 11 games. Goaltender Jackson Parsons stopped 30 of 31 shots in his American Hockey League debut, capturing his first career win.
The Laval Rocket, three points ahead of Belleville in the early standings, have been idle since defeating Hartford on Friday. Laval has only four losses this season, one of which came against Belleville a few weeks ago.
This is the second of 10 scheduled meetings between the Senators and Rocket. Belleville leads the series 1-0-0-0 following a decisive 6-2 home victory on October 22.
“Phil Daoust scored the game-winner, shorthanded, with just about four seconds left in the game.”
Belleville seeks to build momentum in their three-in-three finale against Laval after a dramatic win over Hartford highlighted by Daoust’s last-second goal.
