Airbus delivered 78 aircraft in October 2025, bringing its total to 585 for the year. However, with 235 more planes still needed by December, achieving its annual goal of 820 deliveries remains challenging.
According to the company’s report, October deliveries rose compared to September, when 73 aircraft were handed over to 41 customers. In October, 78 planes were delivered to 36 customers, signaling steady growth in monthly output.
In total, Airbus has delivered aircraft to 85 customers so far in 2025.
The target of 820 deliveries leaves roughly 235 planes to be transferred in the final two months of 2025. This comes amid global supply chain constraints, especially engine shortages that continue to affect production schedules.
October saw Airbus secure 112 gross orders, a sharp recovery compared to just 10 orders in September. This follows 99 new orders recorded in August, highlighting ongoing demand volatility.
By the end of October 2025, the manufacturer reported
“a total of 722 gross orders, including 521 single-aisle jets, 111 A350s, and 90 A330 widebody aircraft.”
Airbus improved its October performance and orders but faces a tight schedule and supply challenges to reach its 2025 delivery target of 820 commercial jets.
