Anthony Edwards led seven Minnesota Timberwolves players scoring in double figures with 26 points, guiding the team to a 144–117 victory over the Sacramento Kings. This marked the Timberwolves’ sixth straight win in California’s capital and their fourth win in five games.
Edwards contributed 26 points, four rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Minnesota shot 53.6% from the field, made 18 of 46 three-point attempts, and gained 37 points from 18 Sacramento turnovers. The Kings led only briefly early in the game before the Wolves took control.
“Another complete game both ends of the floor,” said coach Chris Finch. “I thought we were really sharp, which is what we needed to be. Built on the performances of the other day, and it continued into today. Really pleased with how we’re starting games defensively.”
Returning from a hamstring injury that sidelined him for four games, Edwards made 7 of 16 shots from the field, including 5 of 11 from deep and 7 of 8 from the free-throw line. He previously scored 37 points against Utah and has now hit 12 of 23 three-pointers in his last two games.
The Timberwolves crushed the Kings in Sacramento as Anthony Edwards led an energetic team effort, sealing Minnesota’s fourth win in five outings.
