Buffalo Theatre Ensemble Presents Holiday Finale
Buffalo Theatre Ensemble concludes its holiday series inspired by "Pride and Prejudice" with Georgiana and Kitty: Christmas at Pemberley, written by Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon. The play explores the bond between Georgiana Darcy, William Darcy’s younger sister, and Kitty Bennet, Elizabeth Bennet’s second youngest sister. Set on Boxing Day, the story follows their journeys into new careers and relationships.
Olivia Finkelstein stars as Georgiana, and Ksa Curry plays Kitty. The production is directed by Connie Canaday Howard and runs through December 20 at the McAninch Arts Center, College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd., Glen Ellyn.
Goodman Theatre’s Classic “A Christmas Carol” Returns
Christopher Donahue reprises his role as Ebenezer Scrooge in Goodman Theatre’s 48th production of A Christmas Carol. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the show and features Gregory Hirte’s debut as music director. Ella Boparai makes her Goodman debut portraying Tiny Tim in director Malkia Stampley’s adaptation.

Oil Lamp Theater Closes Season with “It’s a Wonderful Life”
Oil Lamp Theater wraps up its 2025 season with It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, adapted by Joe Landry from Frank Capra’s beloved film. The story centers on George Bailey, a man whose hardships lead him to question his existence.
