Broadcaster Jonathan Ross expressed his disapproval of the "weird" conduct of some unnamed co-stars following the conclusion of the first season of Celebrity Traitors. The show featured Ross, Cat Burns, and Alan Carr, who were chosen as Traitors.
Ross was voted out on October 29, creating a tense moment as the contestants awaited the reveal of his loyalty. During this moment, he remarked:
“I've got no idea what everyone is doing wrong. I cannot believe you've done it again. I can't believe I'm standing here for no good reason so I don't want to be rude but you're idiots. But I am not judging because it's fiendish. I'm not blaming the players, I'm blaming the game. I am now and have always been throughout the game completely faithful.”
While Ross left the show relatively early, Cat Burns and Alan Carr reached the final, with Carr winning the Traitors title. Since his exit, Ross noted that a few fellow Traitors contestants have not forgiven the show’s outcome, despite filming ending months ago, according to the Mirror.
During the show’s run, the UK's oldest Indian restaurant faced closure after a century due to a leasing dispute.
Jonathan Ross reflects on the first season of Celebrity Traitors, criticizing some co-stars' behavior while affirming his own loyalty and describing the game’s challenging nature.
