Queensberry Promotions returns with an exciting boxing event as Frank Warren celebrates his 45th year as a licensed British boxing promoter. The highly praised Magnificent 7 series makes its comeback to Manchester.
The Magnificent 7 will feature a headline heavyweight clash between Moses Itauma and Jermain Franklin Jr. The fight will take place at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester on Saturday, January 24, and will air live and exclusively on DAZN. Ticket details will be announced soon.
Undefeated rising star Moses Itauma (13-0, 11 KOs), aged 20, is entering his 14th professional bout. He impressed audiences with a quick first-round victory over Dillian Whyte in his last outing.
Jermain Franklin Jr (24-2, 15 KOs), 32, from Michigan, is riding a streak of three consecutive wins. His only professional defeats came in competitive decisions against Dillian Whyte and Anthony Joshua during previous visits to the UK.
The chief support features a thrilling domestic light heavyweight contest between Willy Hutchinson (19-2, 14 KOs) and Ezra Taylor (13-0, 9 KOs). Hutchinson enters the match after a dominant display over Mark Jeffers in October, while Taylor’s latest performance saw him stop Steed Woodall inside the distance.
