Tragedy on Irish Roads: Man Dies in Three-Car Crash
A man died in a three-vehicle crash in Kilkenny over the weekend, marking the second death on Irish roads this weekend.
The incident occurred on the N10 at Templemartin at around 4:30 pm on Saturday evening. The man, who was driving one of the cars, was killed in the collision. He was the sole occupant of his vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
- A man and woman travelling in a second car were taken to St. Luke’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
- The occupants of the third vehicle did not require immediate hospital treatment.
The local coroner has been notified, and a full forensic collision investigation will be carried out by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators (FCI).
The N10 was closed overnight from the junction at Exit 8 of the M9 to the Hebron Road roundabout, with local diversions in place.
