Saskatchewan Roughriders Secure Top Spot in the West
The Saskatchewan Roughriders have secured first place in the West Division, allowing them to rest some of their key players.
As a result, Jake Maier will start in place of Trevor Harris when the Roughriders visit the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Friday.
“It has been a great year for us, obviously,”
said Maier after Monday’s practice. He added that their current position allows them to give opportunities to other players and build momentum for the playoff run.
The game will be broadcast on CKRM and TSN at 6 p.m.
