Thiago Motta Turns Down Real Sociedad
Juventus were hoping to terminate their contract with Thiago Motta, but their plans have been delayed. The 43-year-old manager was appointed in the summer of 2024 to relaunch the club after Max Allegri's second reign.
Motta was handpicked by former Football Director Cristiano Giuntoli due to his achievements at Bologna. However, he had a miserable eight months in Turin before being let go in March after losses to Atalanta and Fiorentina.
Since then, Motta has been linked to several dugouts, but no concrete developments have occurred. As a result, he and his staff remain on Juve's payroll, with a net salary of €3.5 million until June 2027.
