We recently informed you about an issue with Microsoft Edge, where some users' passwords were visible on screen when logging into University systems.
Microsoft has now resolved the issue, and Microsoft Edge should no longer show passwords while logging in. However, passwords may still be visible in your settings.
To ensure system security, we ask all staff and students to check their Microsoft Edge settings to ensure passwords are not showing in the 'Personal info' settings, where they may be vulnerable.
Usually password details are starred out as you type to avoid any potential security issues.
Please check your settings to protect your passwords.
