Hawai‘i High School Song Contest
Big Island Now invites high school students to showcase their musical talents through the Nā Pua Mele o Hawai‘i Song Contest.
Presented by Mana Maoli and sponsored by Hilton Grand Vacations, students in grades 9–12 can submit a song of any genre for an opportunity to advance their skills and perform live.
Contest Details
- Top 20 finalists will be invited to a day of workshops and one-on-one mentorship with award-winning artist Amy Hānaiali‘i and other special guests.
- Chance to perform live at the Amy Hānaiali‘i concert at the Blue Note.
- Cash awards of up to $1,500 for the top three winners.
- Additional prizes include a professional studio recording session, one-on-one artist lessons, and scholarship support.
