Windows 10 Extended Security Updates
As of October 14, 2025, Windows 10 has reached its End of Life, but users can extend its lifespan through the Extended Security Updates (ESU) program.
To enroll, users can click "Enroll now" on the Windows Update page, link their Microsoft account, and sync Settings to OneDrive. However, users in the EU only require a Microsoft account for free Windows 10 ESU.
- US users can use Microsoft Rewards points (1,000) to sign up for Windows 10 ESU.
- Alternatively, a $30 ESU subscription is available for those who do not have a Microsoft account or Rewards points.
