Ladyfest: A Resounding Success
This year's Ladyfest festival, held at Waban Alley Park, was bigger than ever, with over 900 tickets sold and a total attendance of around 1,300, including vendors and crew.
The festival featured outstanding local bands and the talented Esperanza Spalding as the headliner. However, the biggest crowd pleaser of the evening was a surprise guest act by Ben Taylor, who was joined on stage by his mother and sister, Carly Simon and Sally Taylor, a rare and historic moment in musical history on the Island.
