The United States has unveiled an unmanned version of the Black Hawk helicopter, the S-70UAS U-Hawk, at the Association of the United States Army's AUSA 2025 show.
Thanks to the absence of a cab, the cargo area has increased by 25%, featuring a loading platform with hinged doors in the front of the fuselage.
Sikorsky vice president Rich Benton emphasized that the manufacturer can quickly and on a large scale convert conventional helicopters into drones.
The U-Hawk can be used to carry various cargoes and launch small drones, and was developed in just ten months.
