Britain's Largest Train Refurbishment Project
Southern's entire Electrostar fleet has undergone a major refurbishment, now featuring phone-charging points and improved wifi.
A £100m project has refurbished over 300 London commuter trains operating in and out of Victoria station, ensuring they remain in service for another 15 years.
The project, which took five years to complete, was celebrated at Southern's Selhurst depot in south London, with the final train due to be returned to service.
The last of the 304 “Electrostar” trains, also used for the Gatwick Express, is set to re-enter service.
