A Limerick businessman, Jono Crute, has expressed concern for the future of his business after council officials removed a parklet from outside his premises without notice.
Crute, owner of Crew Brew in Limerick City, arrived at his Thomas Street premises to find council workers taking away the parklet.
It represents about 25% of our revenue, the people sitting outside.
The parklet was installed during the Covid-19 pandemic to facilitate outdoor dining and drinking while maintaining social distancing.
