3 New Exhibitions at Parksville Arts Centre
The McMillan Arts Centre is featuring three new exhibitions this October, on display until October 26.
- Catching Glimmers by Sarah Boileau,
- And There It Is... by Patricia Carroll, and
- The Crow Show by Cathy Stewart.
Nanaimo artist Sarah Boileau has created a series of oil paintings that capture moments of fleeting light and her emotional connection to Vancouver Island's beauty.
Glimmers are when we experience tiny moments of joy during fleeting everyday events.
Boileau finds inspiration in the forests and beaches, photographing natural landscapes from October to March, when the light has a special quality.
