Tatum Denies 'False' Report After Hawks' Big Win
Illawarra Hawks head coach Justin Tatum slammed a report about departed import JaQuori McLaughlin, calling it 'false'.
Tatum stated that the Hawks and McLaughlin mutually agreed to part ways on Friday, before the team's 116-89 win over the Brisbane Bullets.
"The report was false, and that young man was nothing but a pleasure for our organisation and in our locker room, on and off the court.
Code Sports had reported that McLaughlin's departure was due to being a 'cancer' in the locker room, which Tatum denied.
Tatum's team secured their first win of the NBL26 season with a massive victory.
