The National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA) has destroyed 700 sacks of donkey parts handed over by the Nigerian Customs Service (NSC) in Kaduna.
The destruction of the donkey bones and skins took place in compliance with environmental regulations and safety protocols.
According to Mrs. Nwamaka Ejiofor, Assistant Director, Press, NESREA, the exercise was conducted in the presence of regulatory officers and in accordance with environmental standards. Two facilities were utilized for the incineration of the bones, while the skins were buried in a designated area.
