California Father Pleads Guilty to Abusing and Killing 7-Month-Old Son
Jake Haro, a 32-year-old California man, pleaded guilty to torturing and killing his 7-month-old son, Emmanuel Haro.
Haro broke down in court as he admitted to all charges, including second-degree murder, filing a false police report, and assault of a child under 8, resulting in great bodily injury and death.
Riverside County District Attorney Mike Hestrin detailed Jake Haro's criminal history.
The baby's mother, Rebecca Haro, also faces murder charges in connection with her son's death. The remains of baby Emmanuel have not been found, according to the Riverside County District Attorney's Office.
