Colorado clerks are working to alleviate concerns about a potential 'MAGA takeover' of the state's election equipment supplier after the sudden sale of Dominion Voting Systems.
The company, now rebranded as Liberty Vote, was purchased by a former Republican election official, catching many county clerks off guard. Unaffiliated clerk Tiffany Lee from La Plata County stated,
“There was no notification to us that this was even a conversation at their level,”and expressed her concern about not receiving direct information from Dominion or Liberty Vote.
