Rise and Shine at 6th & G
As someone who isn't a big breakfast fan, I like to go all out when I do have an early morning meal. Recently, I took my teenage daughter to try 6th & G Breakfast Co., the latest project from Rise and Shine Hospitality Group, located at 695 6th Avenue in downtown.
The location is great, and I was excited to try it out since it used to be one of my favorite restaurants, Double Standard Kitchenette. The new spot has a unique Wes Anderson vibe, with eclectic art and fun books on display, including pink coffee cups and purple textured goblets for water glasses.
Whoever conceived of this place, it most certainly was not their first rodeo.
The atmosphere is funky and stylish, making it a great spot to start the day. With its great location and interesting decor, 6th & G is definitely worth checking out.
