Fatal Crash on U.S. 301 in Sumter County
A 63-year-old driver from Lacoochee died at the scene of a three-car crash on U.S. 301 near County Road 771 in Webster.
The crash occurred at 2 p.m. when a Ford F-350 truck crossed the centerline and collided with the driver's Dodge Grand Caravan, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
- The force of the collision pushed the van into a Chrysler 300 driven by an 18-year-old from Spring Hill.
- The 71-year-old Bushnell man driving the Ford F-350 truck and the Spring Hill teen suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
